(To TRUMP:) There seems to be a pattern in the way that you have filled cabinet positions in the various administration posts. It appears that you seek out the person that is most hostile to the department they will be heading, and then instruct them to refuse any advice on previous operations, even at the most mundane level. Examples include Scott Pruitt at EPA, Betsy DeVoss at Education, Zimmerman at AG, Zinke at Interior, Angelle at BESSE, Barry Myers at NOAA. I could go on, but my question is, what is your plan here? It just doesn’t make sense to put a climate change denier in charge of the EPA, or an oil industry lobbyist in charge of BESSE, an agency whose sole purpose is to protect the public from oil industry’s unsafe practices. Or to put a man who wants to shut down the NOAA so his company AccuWeather can make more money, at the head of the NOAA. Are you trying to destroy these government agencies?
